Im 18, but sometimes I feel much older than my age.
My lift wasn’t easy. I had to grow up much earlier than I should have. While other guys could simply enjoy being little, I had to learn how to deal with problems on my own. I quickly realized that I couldn’t always rely on someone else, so I learned to depend on myself.
I had to become an adult before I was ready. I learned how to make difficult decisions, take responsibility for my actions, and face whatever life put in front of me.
Now I’m eighteen, and I’m already living an adult life. I have my own responsibilities, problems, and plans for the future. Sometimes I get tired of always having to be strong. Sometimes I just want to go back to being a little girl who doesn’t have to worry about anything.
But I know that my past doesn’t define my whole story.
